Garden Goals for 2017

It’s so nice to finally have a garden to have Garden Goals for.

We had a little yard at our old house that we spent a lot of time making lovely (read about that here), but now that we have the extra room we’re thinking about how to make our outside space into an extra room of our house.

Our old yard was small but perfect formed…

We spend a lot of time outside when the weather is good enough as the toddler is an explorer to say the least… couple that with the new slide and the Wendy House and you can imagine how hard it is for us to keep her indoors when it’s minus 3 degrees.

The Best Is Yet To Come…

Last week’s silent Sunday was a photo of Little Miss Vista playing in the sunshine, in the garden with bubbles and chalk.

When we went to visit Grandma and Granddad yesterday the Shaym, or the sunshine to me and you, had it’s hat on again. Only this time, we had the watering cans, a few plastic pans and a washing up bowl of water to play with.

Armed with dry clothes for later and factor fifty for delicate skin, we frolicked in the garden for most of the afternoon.

My husband informed me that he read something ‘very technical’ that suggested the UK is in for a scorcher of a summer. With no plans to travel far or wide, this would be wonderful!  I read a brilliant post this week on how to plan a stay-cation.

If the sunshine comes back after this rainy Sunday, we shall be very merrily planning our summer stay-cation…

This Silent Sunday also has a very special significance. This is my very post published as a self hosted blogger on WordPress.

Blogger served me well during my first twelve months of blogging, but I felt that now is the time to move on. Onwards and upwards…

The best really could be yet to come!

What have you been up to?!

Thanks for reading,
