Just shy of a month ago we moved house.
We moved from an old, mid terraced house that we had made into a comfortable home into a brand new house, with crisp white (none textured) walls, even floors and stacks of possibility.

This January is the first one in a very long time that although we’re still on a budget we won’t have to panic about where next meal is coming from.

Do you remember Julia?
She was my blogger advent door number 8…
Julia has been writing her Five Under 5 posts monthly since September. I’ve loved reading them and have even picked up a few of the items that Julia has liked… and Little Miss Vista just adores the Paperchase ‘Bambi’ we got after seeing it in November’s post… even if the one we picked up happens to be a drunk and refuses to stand up!
Her posts were so popular and she enjoyed researching and writing them SO much, that Julia has turned this recurrent blog post into a Linky!
Sadly, I’m too late with my post this month to link up – but I love the posts SO much, I thought I’d join in anyway.
A lot of the frivolous items that my family and I pick up tend to be under £5 because we’re on a bit of a budget. Not as tight as it used to be but we’ve learned to rein in the expenses. Some of our luxuries are often worth more than a fiver but we just get them from the ‘right’ places.
