I like the idea behind both Mother’s and Father’s day – it’s nice to appreciate those that we love – but I’m always stuck as to what to buy for gifts…
Do I go all out and spend a fortune? Or do I just buy a thoughtful token gift?
Neither one of these things are stress free… is it big enough? Do they like it? Do they get the meaning behind it? And so on and so on.
Remember I told you we’d been up to something exciting in this post? Well… this year Mumsnet totally scooped me up and rescued me from the Father’s Day gift stress and suggested we try out the perfect gift:
It’s very nearly that time of year for me where I get to go insane in the kitchen and do loads of baking and food crafts, fill the kitchen full of treats and lovely sweet smells… and then give it all away!
I finish work for nearly two full weeks on Wednesday next week (the eve of Christmas eve) and I cannot wait to get creatin’.
