12 Work Out Tunes For 90s Kids

Wanting to work up a sweat to supplement that Slimming World plan you’re on?

Yeah – me too. I keep looking at my pre-Christmas photos and my pre and post weight loss photos as motivation to shift my Christmas belly.

Autumn 2016 – finally happy with the way I look.

But tonight I smashed my Kettlebells work out – not just because I’m getting into it this year, but because the music was IMMENSE!

These days the norm is to work out like you’re suppose to eat – little and often – so here are a handful of motivational songs penned in the late 80s and 90s for all youΒ (60s, 70s, 80s) 90s kids to appreciate.

A few high tempo to work up a sweat, a few good beats to lift too and an easy listener to cool down to. I hope this is the motivation you’ve been looking for (scroll down to the bottom to find a link to the play list).

13 Fight Songs for GIRLS

So, you know… that one song? The one song that sends invisible rays of power from your headphones or speakers right into you and makes you less sleep deprived, more stubborn stronger… righteous?

Victorious!?

The Typing Nook…

I’ve sat in my usual spot for the past few night thinking what I should write as my first blog post of 2016.

Curled up the left hand nook of our big, brown leather sofa poised to type at an angle that although comfortable to me, won’t do anything for my back in my later years I’m sure. I’m jotting down, and typing and thinking… then deleting. Then starting it all again whilst fighting the urge to check twitter or and instagram.

How To Make A Victoria Sponge

It’s very nearly that time of year for me where I get to go insane in the kitchen and do loads of baking and food crafts, fill the kitchen full of treats and lovely sweet smells… and then give it all away!

I finish work for nearly two full weeks on Wednesday next week (the eve of Christmas eve) and I cannot wait to get creatin’.

I love to bake, and although I’m getting pretty good at it by now (I’ve been getting plenty of practice) sometimes even the most basic of things baffle me… I’m trying to find a way to make most of my recipes gluten free for Mr Vista but I need to perfect the simpler version first. Read more
