The Only Way is St Helens

It seems that 2016 has been a crazy year… and it’s about to get crazier. The Only Way is St Helens this Christmas as The Only Way is Essex stars prepare to appear in the St Helens Theatre Royal’s Christmas Panto – ALADDIN.

The Only Way is Essex stars Amy Childs and Harry Derbridge will be swapping the streets of Brentwood to tread the boards at St Helens Theatre Royal when they will appear in Aladdin from Saturday, 3rd December 2016 to Sunday, 8th January 2017.

Amy Childs will star as the Slave of the Ring in the magical family pantomime while Harry Derbridge will play the hilarious PC Noddle. No doubt Amy will bring plenty of glamour to the St Helens stage in her role whilst Harry could be set to melt the town’s hearts.

Amy and Harry will be joined on stage by David Heath who will play street rat Aladdin, Olivia Sloyan as the beautiful Princess Jasmine, Warren Donnolly as the evil Abanazer and Josh Bennett as the Genie of the Lamp, as well as St Helens Theatre Royal panto favourites Ben Engelen as Wishie Washie and Simon Foster as Widow Twankey.

St Helens Theatre Royal invites you on a magical carpet ride this Christmas time when the amazing panto Aladdin swoops into the theatre to take audiences on another sparkling adventure. The Theatre also gives people the chance to enjoy pantomime in a supportive and less formal atmosphere. We’ve visited this year already on Mothering Sunday.

Chantelle Nolan, Theatre Manager said:

“We are delighted to welcome Amy Childs and Harry Derbridge to St Helens Theatre Royal. Amy will bring a real touch of glamour to the show while Harry is hilarious as PC Noddle, I’m sure our audiences will love them!”

  1. The smiles, crazy costumes, the happiness on my two children’s faces and the slapstick humour for both adults and children. I also love how interactive they are! We would love to win “oh no she doesn’t ” oh yes she does!
