This pay-day was the first one in a very long time where I did something very ‘frivolous’. As well you know, dear reader, money doesn’t come easily on Vista Street but I am now at a point in my weight loss journey where re-styling my size 16’s and 18’s just won’t cut it.
I’m now very happy to say that I am a (more than ample) UK size 14.
I’ve worked really hard to get to this point and do hope to continue my journey until I’m at familiar pre-pregnancy size 12.
But for now, and for this and the next season, I’d like to feel about my clothes as good as I feel on the inside.
Armed with a budget of around £300 for a whole new wardrobe (knickers, bras and at least one new handbag inclusive!) I set to picking key items that I’d fallen in love with in my favourite high-street stores and made myself a wardrobe that will easily rotate whatever the whether or occasion.
*Ahem* Ok, ok. So those bra’s may have to go onto the ‘magic card’ until next month… but I really do need three pairs of shoes and two hand bags.
Broken down into each shop:
Don’t judge me…
Bon Marche: £46
New Look: £61.96
Total Price = £377.93
Hmm… Maybe I need to re-think my budget? Oh and how well you know me lovely reader… I do plan to top up my new wardrobe with stylish pieces from a few of my favourite charity shops.. I hope… Watch this space.
A week in my new wardrobe:
How would you wear these items?
Thanks so much for reading:
